You can also use the amdgpu driver if you want. I really need to prune out linux-firmware but it's so helpful having all available when experimenting.which pretty much is all that's happening when you try different hardware trying to recover from failure. It should autodetect what firmware file it needs, then delete the others.

r600 I'm sure is unnecessary for your video card. I have r600, radeon, amdgpu, and radeonsi set just because (well, I was going through a bunch of Radeon cards and trying to figure out which one to use.) but appears radeonsi amdgpu are needed but not sure of radeon. Make sure you have nf VIDEO_CARDS to include radeonsi.
